For over 25 years, HFS has helped healthcare facilities by providing them with meals that are varied, balanced, nutritious, economical and tailored to their needs.
HFS offer a complete range of ready-to-eat menu items, from soups to desserts, along with a selection of prepared foods that cooks at healthcare facilities can easily incorporate into their own recipes and menus. This is not a typical business when you think of ecommerce.
The Web site of HFS is divided on two main parts: a corporate section that everyone can visit and a transactional section restricted to HFS' customer base.
The transactional section has many level of complexities. Various levels of Web access, the constant update the price lists (prices must reflect the market), the establishment of a link with an ERP system plus the need for flexible ordering of healthcare ready-to-eat meals are the biggest challenges with this mandate. Accomplished Mission!
Healthcare facilities quickly adopt the Web site because the site speeds up their work. Healthcare dieticians can plan their meals in advance, classify and store their menus per diet type, per meal type on their HFS online account. Healthcare facilities staff with higher access rights can place their orders online.
The development of this web site has been done by ParadiVision in collaboration with two other companies from Montreal. The Web site was one component of a complete restructuring of HFS' communications and brand image. Guidaction, a communications agency, was responsible to develop the content. The graphic design is the result of Maheu-Arbour graphic studio.
